This month, AMC presented "The Prisoner". A six-part miniseries which is a reinterpretation of the original British 1960's cult television series that starred and was co-created by Patrick McGoohan.
Jim Caviezel (The Passion of the Christ, The Thin Red Line) plays the role of Six; and two-time Oscar nominee Ian McKellen (Lord of the Rings, The Da Vinci Code) co-stars as Two.
When I was younger, I used to stay up late to catch re-runs of the original series. So, I was curious how this remake would measure up. Having watched the entire series over the last three days, I have to admit, I wasn't overly impressed. The pacing was hard to follow, and at times, completely incoherent. "Surreal", I suppose, is the most appropriate (and entirely accurate) word I can think of.
If you've seen it, I'd like to know your thoughts. In my opinion, the best thing AMC did was to make the entire original series available free for your viewing pleasure. You can watch all 17 episodes from the 1967-1968 television show here:

"STREET" is great fun, but it's NOT pics of empty streets, your feet on the pavement, graffiti, traffic lights, ten poses of your girlfriend, or buildings without people. More info --> [link]
